Spotify has launched a new Premium Subscription plan in 55 countries including India designed for two individuals who live at the same address. The plan offers two premium accounts, with access to all of Spotify’s premium features like ad-free playback, offline playback and even a new specially curated playlist called Duo Mix.
The new plan is perfect for two individuals living under one roof who have different tastes in music, but do not want to mix them up with one account. With Premium Duo, Spotify will offer two separate accounts, each with their own music library, playlists and recommendations, along with other benefits of Spotify Premium.
A special feature that is offered with this plan is access to an exclusive playlist called Duo Mix, which is curated automatically based on the music that both users like. As usual, Spotify is offering one-month free of Premium to first-time users.
To activate the plan,
- Sign up or login to your existing account.
- Invite someone you live with to join Duo by email, WhatsApp, etc.
- The invited user must confirm their address and then the plan will get activated.
