OnePlus has started rolling out new OTA update for its new OnePlus TV 55U1 and its Q Series TVs that brings Data Saver Plus, Kids Mode, Connect app for iOS devices that can be downloaded from the App Store. These were announced at the new OnePlus Y and U series launch last week.
The new OnePlus TV update update is 853MB in size and is already rolling out for the OnePlus TV 55U1 and the Q series TVs launched last year. Since it is a staged roll out it should be available for everyone in the coming days. Check out the complete changelog below.
- OnePlus Connect support for iOS devices.
- Data Saver Plus: An enhanced version of the Data Saver feature, this will help keep a check on data usage through bandwidth control. This will also enable data usage alerts and will monitor monthly usage.
- Kids Mode: With this we introduced parental control on apps, limited watch times, and an eye protection function to provide a more kids-friendly experience on the OnePlus TV.
- OxygenPlay: You can now long press any poster in the OxygenPlay homepage to see a pop-up window with information; enhanced UI
