MeitY in partnership with Atal Innovation Mission — Niti Aayog has launched Digital India AatmaNirbhar Bharat Innovate Challenge for entrepreneurs and start-ups. This aims to identify the best Indian Apps that are already being used by citizens and have the potential to scale and become world-class Apps in their respective categories.
It is offering cash awards and incentives of featuring Apps on Leader Boards to create an ecosystem where Indian entrepreneurs and Startups are incentivised to ideate, incubate, build, nurture and sustain Tech solutions that can serve not only citizens within India but also the world.
It has 8 broad categories Office Productivity & Work from Home, Social, Networking, E-Learning, Entertainment, Health & Wellness, Business including Agritech and Fintech, News and Games.
Registration is already live on innovate.mygov.in, and the last date for submission is 18th July 2020. Entries will be screened between 20th to 24th July 2020, and will be evaluated by the jury from 27th July to 3rd August 2020. The final date of announcement is 7th August, 2020. Total price money of 45 lakhs will be given in each of the eight categories, which might have sub-categories.
