The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has raised questions of the presence of germs and bacteria on our most used gadgets like our smartphones, earbuds, etc. Samsung has a new solution to this problem, with the launch of the UV Sterilizer with Wireless Charging.
The UV Sterilizer has been tested to eliminate up to 99% of bacteria and germs, including E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. It features dual UV lights that sterilize both the top and bottom surface of items that are placed inside. It has a single button to turn it ON/OFF and features an automatic turn off feature to save battery life.
Samsung chose a sleek and minimal design, ensuring that the Sterilizer can be placed anywhere in the house without looking awkward. It can fit smartphones of different sizes, earbuds from many manufacturers and even sunglasses. Built into the device is a wireless charging coil, which can charge both smartphones and wireless earbuds that support Qi wireless charging.
The Samsung UV Sterilizer was launched in Thailand last week for TBH 1,560 (Approx. Rs. 3742) and will be coming to global markets soon.
