HMD Global has started rolling out Android 10 update for the Nokia 1 (2018) Android Go Edition phone smartphone, which makes it the 16th Nokia phone to get the update after the Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1, Nokia 2.2, Nokia 7.2, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 2.3, Nokia 6.2, Nokia 1 Plus and Nokia 5.1 Plus. The phone was introduced back in March 2018 running Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition, and got Android Pie update in June 2019.

The latest update brings a number of additional privacy and security features for users, as well as Dark Theme, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and more.
The update weighs 859MB in size, carries the version number V3.090 and brings the June 2020 Security Patch alongside new Android 10 features. It is being rolled out in batches in several counties including Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
10% of all these approved markets will receive the update first, 50% by July 10th and on July 12th,100% of these approved markets will have received Android 10. According to the schedule, the Nokia 2.1 should get the Android 10 Go Edition update soon.
