Xiaomi introduced MIUI 12 in China back in April and it was announced for global markets in May. It started rolling out MIUI 12 update for range of smartphones including Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi K20, Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 8 Pro, and more in India starting from last month.
Today the company in an online event said that it will roll out the update for Mi 10, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro this month.
At the global event the company confirmed the MIUI 12 update for older Redmi Y2 (S2), Redmi Y3, Redmi Note 5 series, Redmi 6 series, Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi 7 series, Redmi 8 series and more, but it is yet to confirm the schedule for these phones. Even POCO X2 started getting the update recently, and POCO F1 could get it soon since pilot testing has started recently.
