Daiwa, an Indian consumer electronics brand, has announced the launch of two new smart TVs for the Indian market – a 49-inch D50BT162 and a 55-inch D55BT162. These 4K TVs feature the BIGWALL UI powered by Android 9.0, HDR10 support, dbx-tv audio support and more.
Both the 4K (3840 x 2160 resolution) TVs feature A+ grade panels with Quantum Luminit Technology, boasting 1.07 Billion Colours. They are HDR10 certified with options like a Cricket Mode, Cinema Mode and backlight control. Regarding audio, they feature 20Watt Box Speaker with dbx-tv audio technology.
Powering their internals is an A-55 Quad Core Processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. For software, both TV’s run Daiwa’s own UI called the BIGWALL, which is based on Android 9.0. The content discovery UI has more 1700000+ hours of content and it is certified to support apps like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLiv, Jio Cinema.
For ports, the TVs come with 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB, support for WiFi and Bluetooth, 1 Optical Output and E-share for screen mirroring. Both TVs are available for purchase in retail stores and Daiwa’s online website, priced at Rs. 29,999 for the D50BT162 and Rs. 34999 for the D55BT162.
