OnePlus has been in the headlines since the launch of OnePlus Nord for various reasons. Recently, the company has announced that its complete range of OnePlus TVs – U series, Y series, and Q series, will now be available online on OnePlus.in starting today.
Last month, OnePlus ventured into the budget TV segment with its Y1 and U1 series of TV in India. There are three models — OnePlus TV Y1 32-inch HD and 43-inch Full HD and the OnePlus TV U1 55-inch 4K TV model. These feature 93% DCI-P2 Color Gamut and gamma engine, which the company calls OnePlus Cinematic Display. These run Android TV 9.0 with built-in Chromecast, Google Play, and Google Assistant.
There is also OnePlus Play with international and local content providers including YouTube, Prime Video, Eros Now, Hungama, Jio Cinema, Zee 5. The OnePlus Connect allows you to seamlessly link your phone and your TV and use your phone exactly as you would a remote, and it is also getting an iPhone app. Data saver and Kids mode will be available in the next OTA update, said the company.
The 55-inch 4K model has MEMC, Dolby Vision, ultra-slim 6.9mm body at its thinnest body, 95% screen-to-body ratio, and 30w speakers with Dolby Atmos. The back is made of strong alloy with carbon fiber pattern, ports are hidden and feature a metal stand. The 32-inch has 88.5% screen-t0-body ratio and the 43-inch model has a 91.2% screen-to-body ratio, and both these feature 20w speakers.
The OnePlus TV 32Y1 costs Rs. 12,999, 43Y1 is priced at Rs. 22,999 and the OnePlus TV 55U1 is priced Rs. 49,999. Consumers buying the OnePlus TV on OnePlus.in can avail no-cost EMI up to six months on leading bank transactions. In addition, the first 100 Red Cable Club members who purchase the OnePlus TV on the brand’s website will also be eligible to gain an OnePlus.in voucher worth INR 1000 until 15th August.
