Apple Music gets two new radio stations; Beats 1 renamed to Apple Music 1

Apple Music was launched back in 2015 and has since grown to become one of the largest music streaming services offered in the world. They have now made a few announcements, the first being that their popular Beats 1 radio station will now be renamed to Apple Music 1. Along with this, Apple is also announcing the launch of two new stations, namely Apple Music Hits and Apple Music Country.

Apple Music 1 will centre around pop culture conversation and artist-led programming, along with being a destination for artists from around the world to release new music, break news, and speak directly to their fans. The radio station will also air various shows that celebrate Latin music around the world.

The Apple Music Hits radio station will air the biggest songs from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s, along with shows featuring notable artists and hosts, sharing stories behind the most popular songs in the world.

And finally, the Apple Music Country radio station, as the name suggests, will primarily air songs from the Country Music genre. The station will be hosted daily by Kelleigh Bannen, Ty Bentli, Bree, Alecia Davis, Ward Guenther, Nada, and Tiera.
