Tenda AC2100 Smart Dual-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router launched in India for Rs. 7,999


Tenda, a manufacturer of network equipment, has launched their new Tenda AC2100 Smart Dual-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router in India. It has advanced features like 4X4 MU-MIMO technology, combined speeds up to 2033 Mbps, Beamforming+ Technology and more.

The Tenda AC2100 supports 802.11ac wave2 Technology that enables a total combined speeds of up to 2033 Mbps (2.4 GHz: 300 Mbps and 5GHz: 1733 Mbps). It claims excellent WiFi coverage thanks to its 6*6dBi external antennas, and the router utilizes technologies like 4X4 MU-MIMO and Beamforming+ to improve connectivity and speed.

To handle all the traffic, the router is powered by a 28nm 1GHz CPU that works a 500MHz co-processor. Another feature supported is Smart Traffic Prioritisation that combines both 2.4GHz and 5GHz under one Wi-Fi name and automatically allocates the Wi-Fi channel/bandwidth to connected devices.

The Tenda AC2100 Dual-band Gigabit Wireless Router is available at an introductory price of Rs. 7,999, but it is listed on Amazon.in for a higher price.
