Xiaomi’s Redmi brand is in a launch spree as the company recently launched the Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi 9, Redmi 9A, Redmi Smart Band. Following that, the company is gearing up to launch yet another smartphone in the Redmi 9 Series – Redmi 9i in India.
Redmi India took to Twitter to tease the launch of the Redmi 9i smartphone in India on September 15th, 2020. The tweet reads “Entertaℹ️nment & excℹ️tement are both going to be yours! #Redmi9i – is launching on September 15 on mi.com & @Flipkart! Tweet ‘ℹ️ AM READY’ if you’re as excited about the launch as we are! #BigOnEntertainment”.
A dedicated microsite reveals that the Redmi 9 will sport a Dot Drop screen, 4GB of RAM, a large battery, and will run on MIUI 12 out-0f-the box. This could be another variant of the recently launched Redmi 9A smartphone and the specifications are also expected to be similar to the Redmi 9A. It will be available on mi.com and Flipkart, and we should know more information about the Redmi 9i in the coming days.
