Vivo today confirmed that it will introduce vivo WATCH, the company’s first smartwatch in China on September 22nd. The teaser images hints at a round dial with at least two physical buttons and it is expected to support audio playback.
It is rumoured to come in 42mm/46mm models with an AMOLED round dial, feature a steel body with both rubber and leather strap options. It is expected to come with 5ATM (50 meter) water resistance so that you can even take it for swimming, continuous heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen detection, Jovi voice assistant with a microphone, NFC for mobile payments, and built-in storage for standalone music playback and is expected to come with up to 18 days of battery life.
The vivo Watch is said to use proprietary OS and not the wear OS. We should know all the details when the vivo Watch is announced next Tuesday.
