Samsung is expected to introduce Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra smartphones in 2021. Now the renders of the S21 and S21 Ultra have surfaced. This shows an Infinity-O display for both the smartphones, quad rear cameras for the S21 Ultra and triple rear cameras for the S21. These are rumoured to be powered by Exynos 1000 or Snapdragon 875 depending on the market.
The Galaxy S21 is said to feature about 6.2-inch flat display and measure 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9~9.0mm, almost same as the Galaxy S20.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to feature about 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch display and measure 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9~10.8mm with a large camera bump. We still don’t have the camera specifications yet, but earlier rumours said that the phone could sport Telephoto and Periscope lenses, in addition to 108MP main and an 12MP ultra-wide cameras.
Earlier rumours said that the Galaxy S21 Ultra could come with an S Pen stylus, but the renders don’t show a separate slot for it. Samsung could add the necessary hardware and software support and add the stylus separately.
January 2021 launch for S21 series?
Samsung introduced the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Z Flip in February this year, but the company is rumoured to introduce the Galaxy S21 series sometime in early January 2021 and start rolling out the phones by the end of January or early February. This will likely be a virtual Galaxy Unpacked event.
