A few days ago, Acer took the wraps of their latest in the Swift and Aspire series of laptops and now, they have been launched in India. All of them feature Intel 11th Gen CPUs with Intel’s latest Iris Xe integrated GPUs and up to NVIDIA’s GeForce MX450 GPUs, all within new thin and light designs.
The Acer Swift 3X has a thin and light body weighing 1.37 kg, with a 14-inch FHD IPS display and packing the latest 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs. Battery life, thanks to its 58.7Wh cell, is rated up to 17.5 hours with fast charging capabilities and it also features Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, Bluetooth 5.1 and Intel Wi-Fi 6 inside.
To be verified as an Intel Evo Platfrom notebook design, the Acer Swift 5 comes with many features such as instant wake, Intel Iris Xe graphics, vibrant displays, all-day battery life and the latest in connectivity. The laptop weighs in at about 1Kg and it sports a 14-inch screen with a peak brightness of 340-nits and covers 100% of the sRGB color gamut.
For internals, the Swift 5 can be configured with either a 11th Gen Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7 processor, which have been tuned to provide users with a battery life of up to 17 hours. In addition, the Swift 5 also has USB-C, Thunderbolt 4 and USB3.2 Gen 2 ports.
The Acer Swift 3 is the smaller sibling of the Swift 5, featuring a 13.5-inch screen with resolution of 2256 x 1504 in a 3:2 aspect ratio with a peak brightness of 400-nits. The Swift 3 has a rated battery life of 16 hours and it can be configured with 11th Gen Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors, up to 16GB of LPDDR4X memory, has support for WiFi 6 and it features Windows Hello via a fingerprint reader.
The Aspire 5 comes in a slim 17.95mm body with 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs with the option to add a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU. It has a full HD IPS touchscreen display, up to 24 GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1 TB M.2 PCIe SSD and 2 TB HDD storage. Along with this, it has an ergonomic hinge design that elevates the body slightly, and Dual band Intel Wi-Fi 6.
The Acer Swift 5 starts at Rs. 79,999, the Acer Swift 3 starts at 67,999, the Acer Swift 3X starts at 79,999, the Acer Aspire 5 starts at Rs. 54999, and all laptops will be available from the Acer e-store from November onwards.
