OnePlus 9 Pro with 6.7-inch curved display, quad rear cameras renders surface

After the OnePlus 9, CAD-based renders of the OnePlus 9 Pro, the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone which is still in the prototype stage has surfaced online. This reveals a 6.7-inch curved screen with a punch-hole in the top left corner. It will likely be a Quad HD+ AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner, but it is not clear if the company will move from 120Hz to 144Hz refresh rate screen.

It should be powered by the next Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. We can expect it to run OxygenOS 11 on top of Android 11. The render shows a metal frame, and quad rear cameras with a similar rectangular array as the latest OnePlus 8T and the mid-range OnePlus Nord, but the camera design might change in the final version, according to the report.

Earlier rumours said that it will pack a larger battery compared to 4510mAh in the predecessor and feature 65W fast charging support. Coming to the variants, the OnePlus 9 series will feature two models OnePlus 9 (LE2110, LE2117, and LE2119) and OnePlus 9 Pro (LE2120 and LE2127). The OnePlus 9 series is expected to be launched in March 2021.
