WhatsApp has begun the wide rollout of their per-chat custom wallpapers, which is a feature that they have been testing in the past month. Along with this, WhatsApp is also making it easier for users to search and find stickers with text or emoji.
Wallpapers in WhatsApp is essentially getting an overhaul. Users can now set custom wallpapers for different chats, with no limits on how many chats they can set it for. Another feature that WhatsApp has introduced is the ability to set separate wallpapers for when the phone is set to light or dark mode.
The update also adds more colour options for the WhatsApp Doodle Wallpaper along with additional nature and architecture stock wallpapers.
Secondly, WhatsApp is making it easier for users to discover more stickers with the ability to search with texts or emoji, provided that a creator has tagged their sticker with an emoji. Users can also browse for stickers more easily through common categories.
The update is rolling out to everyone starting today, so update your WhatsApp to the latest version so that you can enable these new features.
