vivo already started teasing the launch of its upcoming X60 series which will feature ZEISS optics. vivo and ZEISS today officially announced a strategic long-term collaboration aimed at jointly promoting and developing innovations in the field of mobile imaging technology.
vivo and ZEISS have unveiled plans to create vivo ZEISS Imaging Lab, a joint R&D program to innovate mobile imaging technology for vivo’s flagship smartphones. In addition to the joint R&D program, the companies will launch the “vivo ZEISS Master Photography” campaign to promote the vivo ZEISS co-engineered imaging system and to inspire users to enjoy their creativity with vivo’s flagship smartphones.
The Vivo X60 series’ camera lenses are jointly developed by vivo and Zeiss, featuring Zeiss optics, and the X60 will be the first phone to launch with Exynos 1080 5nm SoC.
The vivo X60 will come with a new micro-head camera for improved stabilization, ultra-wide, Telephoto and ToF cameras. It will use words first ZEISS Vario-Tessar 1.48-3.4/16-125 ASPH lens. We should know more details about the smartphone when it goes official on December 29th.
