With the rise of truly wireless earbuds, the SoC that powers the audio experience has become extremely important. Qualcomm has announced their newest Bluetooth Audio SoC for truly wireless earbuds, called the Qualcomm QCC305x. These new SoCs come with various new technologies such as Audio sharing, Voice service support, Qualcomm aptX Adaptive, etc.
With the launch of the QCC305x SoC series, Qualcomm is attempting to bring many of the premium audio features from high-end TWS earbuds to the mid-tier and more affordable levels. It will soon support the upcoming Bluetooth Low Energy Audio standard, which will enable a new highly-requested feature called Audio sharing.
Along with this, the SoCs will support Voice service support for always-on wake word activation, and Qualcomm Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation that will tailor the ANC to the fit and activity of the user. Other built-in technologies include aptX Adaptive, aptX Voice and cVc Echo Cancellation and Noise Suppression.
