Vivo’s iQOO brand has started teasing the upcoming iQOO 7 smartphone series with an image. It shows triple rear cameras along with flash and the iQOO branding. iQOO already signed BMW M Motorsport’s global partnership earlier this year with the iQOO 5, so even the iQOO 7 has a similar design that incorporates three stripes in white leather finish.
The leaked render from weibo user Digital Chat Station shows a punch-hole design, and it will likely feature an AMOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner. iQOO already confirmed a new smartphone with Snapdragon 888 SoC, so the iQOO 7 series should be powered by the flagship SoC. iQOO phone recently got 3C certification that revealed 120W fast charging so the iQOO 7 Pro could be the phone.
The phone is rumoured to come with vivo’s latest OriginOS on top of Android 11. It is said to replace the 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor from the iQOO 5 with a different sensor.
The iQOO 7 series is expected to be introduced sometime in mid-January, and we should know the exact date in the coming weeks.
