We have been hearing several rumours about the upcoming OnePlus 9 5G smartphone for quite sometime now. Now the rumours about the OnePlus 9 Lite has surfaced online. Based on this we can expect OnePlus 9, 9 Pro and 9 Lite, three new smartphones in OnePlus’ early 2021 line up. The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro should be powered by Snapdragon 888 flagship SoC, but the OnePlus 9 Lite is said to come with the old Snapdragon 865 SoC.
The OnePlus 9 Lite is expected to feature a 90Hz or 120Hz AMOLED screen, support 65W fast charging, and come with similar camera setup as the OnePlus 8T, while the OnePlus 9 and the 9 Pro are expected to get a new camera module. The OnePlus 9 Lite is said to feature a plastic back to cut the cost, should run Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 and feature support for 65W fast charging.
The OnePlus 9 Lite is said to be priced around $600 that is cheaper than the $749 OnePlus 8T in US, so it should be much cheaper in India. The OnePlus 9 series is expected to be launched in March 2021. We should know more details in the coming months.
