Microsoft has announced a new update to their Surface devices, with the launch of the Surface Pro 7+ for business customers. It has been upgraded with Intel’s new 11th Gen Core processors, offers LTE connectivity options, a removable SSD and a longer battery life.
The new Surface Pro 7+ can be configured with up to a quad-core 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 Processor, along with the powerful new Intel Iris Xe Graphics. The device comes with the same 12.3” 3:2 10-point multi-touch PixelSense Display, however, the front and rear facing cameras have been upgraded to support up to 1080p full HD video, which is a great feature to have these days.
Microsoft also added support for LTE advanced so that the devices can always be connected and for storage, Microsoft has finally added the option of having a removable SSD. Battery life on the Surface Pro 7+ has been improved, with Microsoft claiming up to 15 hours with typical usage.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ will be available in select markets across Asia, Europe and North America from today, starting at $899 (Approx. Rs. 65,918) for the Wi-Fi configuration and $1,149 (Approx. Rs. 84,249) for the LTE-Advanced configuration.
