Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 Prime back in August in India. To those unaware, Xiaomi sells the same smartphone as Redmi 9 in other markets. Redmi 9 Prime’s POCO sibling, POCO M2 started receiving MIUI 12 global stable update in India a couple of weeks ago. Now, Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 12 stable update for Redmi 9 Prime users in India. With this update, Xiaomi concludes MIUI 12 roll-out for all it’s Redmi 9 series devices in India.
Redmi 9 Prime MIUI 12 Stable update comes as MIUI 12.0.1.0.QJCINXM, weighs 608MBs in size and brings December Android security patch to the device along with MIUI 12. If you haven’t received the update on your device, you can download the zip file here and try flashing it using the recovery method.
