Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e with AMOLED display, GPS, SpO2 monitoring launching in India on January 19


Update: Amazfit has confirmed that the GTR 2e and GTS 2e will be launched in India on January 19th. The GTR 2e will be sold on Amazon.in and the GTS 2e will be sold on Flipkart, in addition to Amazfit.com.

Earlier: After the launch of GTR 2 and GTS 2 and GTS 2 mini smartwatches in India last month, Huami has confirmed that Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e, cheaper versions of the watches will launch in India this month after they were introduced in China recently. The Amazfit GTR 2e has a 1.39-inch 2.5D curved glass screen with Glass vacuum coating and Aluminum alloy body, while the GTS 2e feature a 1.65-inch AMOLED 2.5D curved glass screen with glass vacuum coating, aluminum alloy body and matt frosted bottom case.

These lack built-in Wi-Fi, speaker for voice calls over Bluetooth and built-in storage for music playback. These support PAI health assessment system, 90+ sports modes with intelligent recognition of 6 sports modes, and offer twice the times the battery life of the GTR 2 and the GTS 2.

These were introduced in China for  799 yuan (US$ 122 / Rs. 8,980 approx.) in China, so we can expect them to launch for under Rs. 10,000 in India.
