Xiaomi smartphone with OLED display, Snapdragon 775G, 64MP rear camera, 5x optical zoom said to launch soon

Xiaomi is reportedly working on a new mid-range smartphone with an OLED punch-hole screen, Snapdragon SM7350 SoC and a 64MP rear camera along with a telephoto camera that will offer 5x optical zoom, according to popular leakster Digital Chat Station.

Regarding the Snapdragon SM7350 SoC, the SoC surfaced last year as Snapdragon 775 / 775G, successor of 765G. It was reportedly tested with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and a 120Hz refresh rate screen, so we might see a 120Hz OLED screen on the phone. Some rumours say that it could use Samsung’s 6nm EUV process and ARM Cortex-A78 cores along with Cortex-A55 cores.

Even though the name of the smartphone has not been confirmed, rumours say that the phone will be launched as Mi 11 Lite, a cheaper version of the Mi 11 that was introduced recently while some rumours say that it could be a version in the K40 series that is expected to be introduced later this month or Redmi 10 series.

Xiaomi last week confirmed that it will introduce the Mi 11 smartphone globally on February 8th. It is also expected to introduce the Mi 11 Lite alongside which is rumoured to pack a Snapdragon 732G SoC and 64MP+ 8MP+ 5MP triple rear cameras, so it is not clear if both are same phones.
