OnePlus CEO already confirmed that the company will launch its first smartwatch in 2021, and it was spotted on IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) website in India a few months back with the name OnePlus Watch and the model number W301GB. The circular dial was rumoured already. Now the design of the OnePlus Watch has been confirmed by DPMA in Germany that reveals sports and leather bands for the smartwatch.
The smartwatch has a round dial, two buttons on the right side, heart rate sensor on the back along with charging pins. It comes with a silicone strap and the design of the strap is similar to the OnePlus band and other fitness bands. It looks like a metal casing.
The other patent shows the same watch with a leather strap with a clasp type lock. The strap is removable, so you can interchange them similar to most other smartwatches.
We still don’t know the specifications or if it will run WearOS. Hope we can expect the OnePlus Watch along with the OnePlus 9 series smartphones that are expected to launch in March.
