108MP camera confirmed for top-end Redmi Note 10 series smartphone ahead of launch on March 4 [Update: Box teaser]

Update: Xiaomi India head and VP Manu Jain today posted the image of the box of the Redmi Note 10 series phone which mentions 108MP camera along with three other cameras. It also shows a punch-hole display and a Rose Gold colour variant, but it is also expected to come in Green colour, based on earlier rumours.

Xiaomi under its Redmi brand is all set to launch the Redmi Note 10 series smartphones in India on March 4th. Today it has also confirmed the global launch event for the phone and also said that it will feature a 108MP rear camera. This should be the top-end version of the Redmi Note 10 series.

This will likely use the 108-megapixel 1/1.52″ Samsung HM2 sensor that was first introduced in Mi 10i launched last month and the Redmi K40 Pro+ that was introduced today. The entry-level Redmi Note 10 is rumoured to pack a 48-megapixel sensor.

The company already teased smoothest display and 2x brighter display on a Redmi phone, Snapdragon SoC built for gaming, new evol design, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, lightweight body, big battery with support for fast charging, better haptics, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the front.

The Redmi Note 10 series will be launched exclusively on Amazon.in, in addition to Mi.com online and Mi stores offline.
