OnePlus through a contest post in its forum has confirmed the launch of the OnePlus Watch along with the OnePlus 9 series on March 23rd. The company’s first smartwatch was confirmed by the OnePlus CEO back in December last year. This comes after the launch on OnePlus Band in January.
The smartwatch was spotted on IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) website in India a few months back with the name OnePlus Watch and the model number W301GB. The design of the watch was recently confirmed by DPMA in Germany that revealed sports and leather bands for the smartwatch.
Based on the certification, the smartwatch will feature a round dial, two buttons on the right side, heart rate sensor on the back along with charging pins. It comes with a silicone strap and the design of the strap is similar to the OnePlus band and other fitness bands. It will also come in another version with a leather strap with a clasp type lock.
We should know more details about the OnePlus Watch in the coming days.
