A new OPPO smartphone with the model number PEXM00 has been certified by MIIT in China. This is said to launch in the Reno 6 series. Earlier rumours revealed that the Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro and the Reno 6 Pro+ will be powered by Dimensity 1200, Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 888, respectively. The image from the certification site shows 64MP triple rear cameras.
It also reveals a 6.43-inch screen, which could be FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, similar to the realme GT Neo that was introduced recently. All the phones in the Reno 6 series are expected to pack a 120Hz refresh rate screen, compared to 90Hz in the predecessor.
The Reno 6 will measure 159.1×73.4×7.9mm, run Android 11 with ColorOS 11 and pack a 4200mAh (2100mAh x 2) with support for 65W fast charging, which was revealed in 3C certification recently.
The OPPO Reno 5 series was introduced back in December, so the Reno 6 series could be introduced sometime in May. We should know more details about these phones in the coming weeks.
