vivo just announced the VV21 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in the V series along with the V21 and the V21e, cheaper 4G model in Malaysia, ahead of India launch later this week. Both the phones feature a 44MP auto focus front camera with 4K video recording, Night Portrait, Super Night Selfie features and the V21 also comes with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Dual Selfie Spotlight that offers bright selfies and videos, thanks to dual LED flash on the front. These pack a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, and the V21 comes with 90Hz refresh rate.
The V21 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC, and the V21e is powered by Snapdragon 720G SoC, both with 8GB of RAM with extended RAM technology, so an 8GB phone can tap on 3GB of external memory space for RAM. Both the feature a 64MP main, 8MP wide-angle and a 2MP macro camera. These feature an AG matte glass finish and pack a 4000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging that can charge up to 63% in 30 minutes.

The vivo V21 comes in Sunset Dazzle and Dusk Blue colours, is priced at 1,599 Malaysian Ringgit (US$ 390 / Rs. 29,075 approx.) and will go on sale in Malaysia from May 5th. The v21 5G will be released in more markets including India soon. We will know the price of the phone in India when it is launched on April 29th.
