Google also have their own series of Android devices which is known as the Nexus. They started this series by announcing the Nexus One last year and successor to it later this year which is known as Nexus S. The aim behind these devices is to bring “Pure Google” experience to the users. Now it looks like Google is also planning to launch a tablet with “Pure Google” experience and it might be known as the Nexus Tablet. Source of this rumor is Eldar Murtazin of Mobile-Review. It’s reported that Google is choosing LG to make it, and as you people may know that LG recently announced the LG Optimus Pad a.k.a G Slate, which is their first tablet and comes with 3D display. It’s reported that it will be out around mid-summer and it will run the latest version of Honeycomb, which will be available for other devices after the launch of the Nexus tablet.
Eldar Murtazin is also saying that tablets running Android 2.x version are not allowed to upgrade to Android 3.0. Just like the Samsung Galaxy Tab is running on Android 2.x version as well as the HTC Flyer. Well, it’s a bad news for Galaxy Tab users, but don’t worry because hackers are working on it. And for HTC Flyer, as the tablet is not out yet so you can still change your mind. But if you don’t like Android 3.0, then it’s a good choice for you.
So people, let’s wait and see what Google is cooking with LG and tell us that would you buy a tablet with “Pure Google” experience or you prefer something like Sense UI and TouchWiz?
