[Update – May 25: Xiaomi has confirmed the pricing for the phone. The 4GB+64GB version is priced at US$ 169 (Rs. 12,305 approx.) and the 4GB+128GB version costs $189 (Rs. 13,760 approx.). It has already started rolling, and the availability may vary between markets, said the company.
Earlier: Xiaomi has announced Redmi Note 8 2021, the company’s new mid-range smartphone after teasing it a few days back. The phone packs a 6.3-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection, is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 12nm SoC with 4GB of RAM. It features a 48-megapixel primary rear camera, 8-megapixel 120° ultra-wide angle lens, 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is also a 13-megapixel camera on the front.
It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging with 22.5W fast charger in the box.

The Redmi Note 8 2021 comes in Neptune Blue, Moonlight White and Space Black colours. The phone is listed on mi.com global site, but the pricing has not been announced yet. Earlier rumours revealed that the phone will be introduced in Europe and Russia markets.
