Update: POCO has posted a new teaser for the phone that shows the button layout of the phone that resembles the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. We can expect the official launch date soon, which is rumoured to be early August.
Earlier: After rumours, POCO F3 GT has been confirmed by the POCO India head Anuj Sharma in a new teaser video for the upcoming phone. The video shows that the phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. At the end it says that the phone will be launched in Q3 2021, so we can expect it sometime in July or August.

A recent finding revealed that the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition phone that was launched in China last month will arrive in India as POCO F3 GT. The POCO India head already said that the upcoming POCO F series phone will be priced much higher priced device compared to the POCO X3 Pro. In an interview POCO global head said that the company is working on POCO UI, but it is not clear if this will launch with the F3 GT.
There is a tough competition in the mid-range gaming phone market. realme is all set to launch its X7 Max smartphone powered by Dimensity 1200 on May 31st, making it the first phone in the country to be powered by the chip.
