Astell&Kern, a South Korean audio company, has announced the launch of their USB-C DAC called the PEE51 in India. It features a dual DAC configuration that is designed for Android smartphones, Windows 10 PC, Tablet and MacOS devices.
The PEE51 has a very compact design with polished metal zinc alloy body, measuring in at 17mm x 50mm x 10.3mm. It has dual DACs built-in, which are two Cirrus Logic CS43198 MasterHIFi DACs. The DACs enable support for high-resolution audio playback up to native DSD256 and 32bit/384kHz.
Along with the DACs, the PEE51 has an independent analog amplifier, which result in distortion free, live, warm and clear sound. The custom-made 4-core silver-plated copper cable has a Technora aramid fibre at its core, that ensure high-durability.
