London-based consumer tech company Nothing today announced that it will launch ear (1), the company’s first true wireless earbuds globally and in India, simultaneously on July 27th. The company already confirmed that it will be sold on Flipkart in India, and it will also offer No Cost EMI. It was supposed to launch this June, but the launch has slightly been pushed to summer.
Carl Pei, the founder of the company, already said that Ear 1 is only the beginning, the first step in a long and exciting journey ahead. The company is yet to reveal the design, but has confirmed that it will combine notes of transparency, iconic form, and refined functionality.
The company has also partnered with Smartech and Selfridges to sell the earbuds in the UK. However, it is not clear if the company will sell it in the US.
The Nothing ear (1) launch on July 27th starts at 2PM BST / 6:30 PM IST. We should know more details about the product in the coming weeks.
