Garmin has launched Venu 2 and Venu 2S GPS smartwatches in the new Venu series in India. These come with newly built-in Health Snapshot feature, enabling the users to log a 2-minute session to record key health stats, including heart rate, heart rate variability, Pulse Ox2, respiration and stress, generating a report via the Garmin Connect app to monitor the statistics.
These smartwatches can effortlessly track health and wellness, feature an 1.1-inch (360 x 360 pixels) / 1.3-inch (416 x 416 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, respiration tracking, Pulse Ox sensor, body battery energy monitoring, stress tracking, pregnancy and menstrual cycle monitoring, sleep monitoring along with other additional health monitoring metrics to track the users’ fitness goals and progress.
The Venu 2 and Venu 2S come with 45mm watch case and 40mm watch case, respectively. With new activity profiles for HIIT (including AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata and custom timers), indoor climbing, bouldering and hiking, the Venu 2/2S has over 25 built-in indoor and GPS sports apps with favorites that include walking, running, cycling, pool swimming, golf, Pilates and yoga.
These track sleep including light, deep and REM sleep stages as well as movement, Pulse Ox and respiration, feature built-in music (download up to 650 songs including playlists from Spotify and Amazon Music), smart notifications for text messages (Android users can reply from device), calendar reminders, incoming calls and more.
These can be used with either Android or Apple smartphones. The users can enjoy an enhanced battery life of up to 11 days in smartwatch mode and up to 8 hours in GPS mode on the Venu 2 and 10 days in smartwatch mode and up to 7 hours in GPS mode on Venu 2S and with rapid recharging.

The Venu 2 comes in Silver Bezel with Granite Blue Case and Silicone Band and Slate Bezel with Black Case and Silicone Band and is priced Rs. 41,990. The Venu 2s comes in Slate Bezel with Graphite Case and Silicone Band and Rose Gold Bezel with White Case and Silicone Band and is priced Rs. 37,990.
