Soundbars don’t always have to look boring, and LG has released just the product to prove that. It is called the LG Eclair, and it is 3.1.2 channel speaker system with an eclair-shaped main unit along with a subwoofer featuring support for Dolby ATMOS, DTS:X, and more.
The LG Eclair soundbar is about the size of a standard tissue box with a length of 30cm, and it has a fabric covered exterior. The entire system consists of a main body, a subwoofer, and an up-firing speaker that emits sound toward the ceiling, for a complete 3.1.2 channel stereophonic sound experience. The speaker’s total rated output power is 320 watts.
The system’s sound signature has been tuned by LG’s long-time audio partner, Meridian Audio, and they feature support for various audio technologies such as eARC, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The Eclair can also sync up with 2021 LG TV models, with a function called ‘TV Sound Sharing’ that will optimize the sound quality using the LG TV’s artificial intelligence processor.
The LG Eclair comes in two colors, black and white, and they will be available in the North America, major European countries, Korea and Japan for a price of 899,000 won (Approx. Rs. 58,565).
