Update: Madhav Sheth, CEO of realme India, has confirmed the launch of realme Flash smartphone in India soon. He said that it is the first Android phone with magnetic wireless charging.
Earlier: realme is all set to launch a new smartphone named Realme Flash, and it is said to be the first Android phone with support for magnetic wireless charging technology.
realme took to Twitter to tease the announcement of the upcoming realme Flash smartphone. The tweet reads “This newcomer is totally going to sweep you off your feet! Tell us what comes to your mind when you hear ‘Flash’? Stay tuned to find out.”
A report suggests that realme Flash will be the first Android smartphone with magnetic wireless charging technology, and it will be called ‘MagDart’. Further, the MagDart will be a clip-on accessory, similar to Apple’s MagSafe, and will support speeds over 15W. It will also come with a cooling fan to prevent overheating and will feature a USB Type-C connector.
Regarding the specifications of the realme Flash, it is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Mobile Platform paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The launch date is not announced yet, but since the teasers are out, it should be right around the corner.
