Along with the P50 series, HUAWEI also introduced the HUAWEI Band 6 Pro, successor to HUAWEI Band 6 and the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG, an upgrade to the HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro. The Band 6 Pro adds a built-in temperature detection sensor to detect skin temperature and estimated body temperature that shows changes in body temperature, and provides high and low temperature reminders. It has 24-Hour Heart Rate Monitoring, blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring and 96 workout modes, but it still doesn’t have GPS support.
As the name suggests, HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG has ECG monitoring. HUAWEI says that it is the company’s first smart wearable medical device to obtain a Class II medical device registration certificate from the National Medical Products Administration.
Other features are similar to the Watch GT 2 Pro, including the rugged design with premium materials, including a sapphire watch crystal, titanium case and skin-friendly ceramic case back. It supports 100+ workout modes, including 17 professional modes and 85 custom modes , HUAWEI TruSeen 4.0+, SpO2 and heart monitoring and promises up to 2 weeks of battery life, 5 minutes of wireless quick charge, offering 10 hours of use.
The HUAWEI Band 6 Pro comes in Midnight Black and Mica Gray colours Mica Gray colour, is priced at 449 yuan (US$ 69 / Rs. 5,160 approx.), will be available to order from August 11th and goes on sale in China from August 20th.
The HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro ECG comes in Obsidian Black colour, is priced at 3088 yuan (US$ 477 / Rs. 35,510 approx.), is already available to order and goes on sale in China from August 12th.
