Alienware, the gaming division under Dell, has announced the launch of two new high-performance gaming laptops in India, namely the m15 R5 and the m15 R6. They both feature NVIDIA’s latest Geforce RTX 30-series laptop GPUs, and offer the latest CPU options from Intel and AMD.
The m15 R5 Ryzen Edition features up to an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor, up to an NVIDIA RTX 3060 GPU, and can be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 4TB of NVMe SSD storage. It comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display that has a refresh rate of 165Hz, and the battery is a 86Whr cell with a 240W charger. For ports, it has 3USB Type-A ports, a type-C port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an Ethernet port.
The m15 R6 gaming laptop is the Intel powered counterpart, with up to an Intel Core i7-11800H Tiger Lake-H CPU, and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU. It comes standard with the Alienware mSeries 4-Zone AlienFX RGB keyboard that offers 1.7mm key travel, and for the display it comes with up to a QHD panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. For ports it has 3 USB Type-A ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an ethernet port.
The Alienware m15 R5 Ryzen Edition gaming laptop starts at Rs. 1,34,990, whereas the Alienware m15 R6 starts at Rs. 1,59,990, and both laptops are available for purchase on Dell’s online website.
