Motorola just launched the edge 20 and edge 20 fusion smartphones in the new edge 20 series in India, as it had promised. Both these pack a 6.7″ AMOLED, 10-bit colour screen with DCI-P3 colour space and HDR10+ with edge 20 featuring 144Hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 778G SoC and the fusion model has a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC.
Both the phones pack a 108MP main camera and an ultrawide-angle lens, and the edge 20 fusion has a 2MP depth sensor, while the edge 20 features a 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 30X Super Zoom. The camera features include Dual Capture, Dual Capture, 960fps super slow motion, and these devices are protected by ThinkShield for mobile. These run Android 11 without any bloatware and the company says that these will receive at least 2 major android OS upgrades and 2 years of bi-monthly security updates.
The new Ready For PC functionality lets you instantly connect your PC and your phone apps and your PC files all on the same screen. Just open up Ready For, and you’re ready to go. Then work on two files at once. You can even move files back and forth between your devices—sharing is a snap. This is available on selected devices, and on Windows 10.
