Followed by the vivo X70 Pro renders, CAD-based renders of the vivo X70 has surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. This reveals a 6.5-inch FHD+ punch-hole screen, which is expected to be an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, but it said to be a flat display instead of a curved screen in the Pro model. It also shows triple rear cameras with ZEISS optics and triple LED flash, while the Pro is said to feature an additional camera.
It also shows that the USB Type-C port, speaker grille, microphone and SIM card slot are located at the bottom. The phone is said to measure 158.5 x 73.4 x 8mm~16mm. Similar to the vivo X70 Pro, this is also said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM, and it should run Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. It is also expected to come in 8GB RAM version.
All the phones in the X70 series are expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. It could also come with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, and support 44W fast charging. Based on earlier rumours, the top-end X70 Pro+ is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888+ Mobile Platform and support 66W charging.
The vivo X70 render shows a gradient design with a mix of blue and green colours, but we can expect more colour variants for the phone. The vivo X70 series is expected to be announced sometime in September, and we should know the exact date in the coming weeks.
