Soon after the Dimensity 810 5G SoC was introduced earlier this month, realme confirmed that it will be the first to launch a smartphone with the processor. Today, MediaTek has confirmed that realme will launch the first phone powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor in India.
The Dimensity 810 is built using the 6nm high-performance manufacturing node, compared to 7nm in the Dimensity 800 and 800U. It has Arm Cortex-A76 CPU speeds up to 2.4GHz and has camera features including artistic AI-color in collaboration with Arcsoft, and advanced noise reduction techniques for superb low-light photography.
Based on earlier rumours, the realme 8s will be the phone that will be powered by Snapdragon 810 SoC. It is said to sport a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, pack up 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage along with support for 5GB virtual RAM.
According to the renders it will come with 64MP triple rear camera setup, power button with a fingerprint scanner on the right side and is said to pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W Dart charging.
