realme just launched realme 8s 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio and an 16-megapixel camera inside the punch-hole. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC compared to Dimensity 700 in the realme 8. It has up to 8GB of RAM with Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) technology, which can add up to 5GB to the existing 8GB RAM.
The phone support for 5G SA/NSA and runs Android 11 with realme UI 2.0. The phone features infinite star design that inspired by the mysterious universe and the vast starry sky. This changes colours when the light is reflected at certain angles. The delicate frosted feel is easy on the hands and allows better fingerprint resistance.
It features a 64-megapixel rear camera along with an 2-megapixel B&W camera and a 2-megapixel 4cm macro camera. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W Dart Charge fast charging.
