OPPO has launched A16, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the A-series in India, as a successor to the A15 that was launched last year. It has a 6.52-inch HD+ Waterdrop notch screen, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with 4GB of RAM, runs Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top, has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth camera and an 8-megapixel camera on the front.
The phone has a 3D curved body, features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery. Compared to micro USB port in the A15, the A16 has a USB Type-C port.
