Meizu today announced the 18X, the company’s latest smartphone in the Meizu 18 series, and has upgraded the Meizu 18 and 18 Pro with the 18s and 18s Pro that replaces the Snapdragon 888 with the Snapdragon 888+ while retaining other specifications. All the phones run Flyme 9.2 on top of Android 11.
Coming to the Meizu 18X, the phone has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 10-bit AMOLED screen with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, is powered by Snapdragon 870 with 5G SA/NSA support, has up to 12GB of RAM and up to 7GB of virual RAM. The punch-hole houses a 13MP front camera. The phone has a new right-angle rounded edge design scheme and a 2.5D glass both on the front and the back.
The phone packs a 64MP Samsung GW3 main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor for portraits. It has a 4,300mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging that can charge up to 70% in 30 minutes.

The Meizu 18X comes in White, Black and Blue colours, is priced at 2599 yuan (US$ 401 / Rs. 29,680 approx.) for 8GB + 128GB, 2799 yuan (US$ 432 / Rs. 31,960 approx.) for 8GB+ 256GB and the top-end 12GB +256GB version costs 2999 yuan (US$ 463 / Rs. 34,245 approx.). It is available to order from today and will go on sale in China from September 26th.
