realme GT 5G is the company’s latest top-end smartphone powered by Snapdragon 888 that was introduced in China earlier this year, and it was launched in India few months back priced starting at Rs. 37,999.
Now, the company’s CEO Sky Li has confirmed that the company is gearing up to launch high-end market with smartphones priced over US$ 800 (Rs. 59,500 approx.). He also asked what the consumers are expecting from a realme flagship smartphone.
Even though the realme GT 5G has a high refresh rate AMOLED screen and a flagship processor, this misses out a telephoto camera, wireless charging and a premium design.
The screen is expected to see a huge upgrade, and realme could use an E5 AMOLED display that is seen in several flagship phones, and we can also see an improved main camera sensor along with a telephoto zoom camera.
Qualcomm is expected to introduce Snapdragon 898 in the next few weeks, and we can expect also expect the MediaTek Dimensity 2000 flagship processor soon, so expect that realme’s first flagship model sometime in early 2022.
