Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra gets Pro Mode support for telephoto cameras — Here’s how to get it

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is one of the best camera Android phones of 2021, thanks to capable camera setup and image processing. To enhance the experience even more, recently, Samsung has announced the Pro Mode support for the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s telephoto cameras, but with a dedicated app. To date, only the primary and ultrawide cameras had the Pro mode support.

According to Sammobile, Samsung has released the “Expert RAW camera” app on the Galaxy Store in South Korea. Right now, the app only works on S21 Ultra that runs on One UI 4.0 on top of Android 12. The app will be rolled out for S21+ and Galaxy Tab S5e will in the upcoming days, says Samsung.

The Expert RAW Camera allows S21 Ultra’s Primary, ultrawide, 3x telephoto, and 10x telephoto cameras to be used in Pro mode. The mode allows users to adjust Exposure Value (EV), focus, ISO, Shutter Speed, and White Balance. Other settings like contrast, highlights, shadows, saturation, and tint can be adjusted.

The app supports HDR and can save images in Lossless JPEG and 16-bit Linear DNG RAW formats.
