iQOO has announced Neo 5S, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in the iQOO Neo series, as it had announced. It packs a 6.62-inch Full HD+ 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen with 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1000Hz instant touch sampling rate, 5.8ms touch response, peak brightness of 1,300 nits, support for HDR10+, built-in intelligent display chip Pro for MEMC, DC dimming and 91.4% screen-to-body ratio.
It is powered by Snapdragon 888 with enhanced version of LPDDR5, which can reach 6400Mbps transfer rate, faster reading and lower power consumption; enhanced version of UFS3.1, supports the new HID Deep defragmentation technology. In addition to retaining large-area graphite plates, VC soaking plates, and high-conductivity heat dissipation gel from the predecessor Neo 5, the iQOO Neo 5S uses aerospace-grade high-conductivity rare earth alloys to improve thermal conductivity by up to 200% compared to the predecessor.
The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner, and has 48MP IMX598 main camera with OIS, 13MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. It has a 16MP punch-hole front camera. The phone has 4D Game Vibration 3.0, comes with AG glass back, linear vibration motor, and packs a 4500mAh battery that supports up to 66W wired fast charging that can charge the phone from 0 to 70% in 18 minutes.

The iQOO Neo 5S comes in Black, Blue and Orange colours, is priced at 2699 yuan (US$ 423 / Rs. 32,100 approx.) for 8GB + 128GB, 2899 yuan (US$ 454 / Rs. 34,485 approx.) for 8GB + 256GB and 3199 yuan (US$ 501 / Rs. 38,055 approx.) for the top-end 12GB + 256GB versions and will go on sale in China starting from December 24th with pre-orders starting today.
