vivo has announced the S12 series of smartphones, as it had promised. These pack a 6.44-inch flat and 6.56-inch curved FHD+ 90Hz refresh rate screen, and are powered by Dimensity 1100 and Dimensity 1200 SoC, respectively. Both these pack a 108MP main camera, 8MP super wide-angle and 2MP macro camera. The S12 has 44MP selfie and 8MP ultra-wide cameras on the front.
The S12 Pro has a 50MP selfie camera with customized 50MP Samsung JNV sensor, has ISOCELL 3.0 technology, and sensitivity is claimed to be increased by 108%. It retains the same ultra-wide camera. In addition, Vivo has hidden dual-color temperature LED flash on both the phones. These pack 4200mAh and 4300mAh batteries respectively with support for 44W fast charging.

The vivo S12 and S12 Pro come in Black, Blue and Warm Gold colours. The vivo S12 is priced at 2799 yuan (US$ 439 / Rs. 33,150 approx.) for 8GB + 256GB version and the 12GB + 256GB version costs 2999 yuan (US$ 470 / Rs. 35,520 approx.). The vivo S12 Pro costs 3399 yuan (US$ 533 / Rs. 40,255 approx.) for the for 8GB + 256GB version and the 12GB + 256GB version costs 3699 yuan (US$ 580 / Rs. 43,860 approx.). These are available to order and will go on sale in China starting from December 30th.
