Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab A8, successor to the Tab A7, earlier this month. Now the company has started teasing the tablet on Amazon.in ahead of the India launch, which could happen as early as next week. The Tab A8 packs almost similar specifications as the A7, but this is powered by UNISOC T618 SoC, compared to Snapdragon 662 in the predecessor.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 was launched in India last year for Rs. 17999 for the 3GB + 32GB Wi-Fi version, so we can expect it to launch in India around the same price, slightly cheaper than the €229 (US$ 257 / Rs. 19,690 approx.) pricing in Europe.
